Heath Zenith SL-5316-WH-C Replacement Wide-Angle Motion Sensor, White Review

Heath Zenith SL-5316-WH-C Replacement Wide-Angle Motion Sensor, White Feature

  • Replacement wide-angle motion sensor
  • For use with outdoor lighting
  • Two-level lighting: timed, low-level accent light or full-bright security light
  • Hidden 240-degree motion sensor; up to 100 feet detection range and adjustable sensitivity
  • Heavy die-cast metal; 8 ounces
Got a floodlight with a broken motion sensor or want to upgrade for greater detection range? The Heath Zenith SL-5316-WH-A gives you a 240-degree sensitivity zone, and the range is adjustable from 15 to 100 feet (the low range is convenient if you don't want your light going off every time a car drives by). It also features "Dual Brite" lighting, which means you can use it for low-level accent lighting in addition to the full-light effect you get with motion-activation. An included timer allows you to set low-light mode for three hours, six hours, or dusk to dawn (an automatic photocell deactivates the unit in daylight). You can also turn the light on and off at will via the manual override that mounts to an existing indoor switch. Requires 300 watt bulb. Ten-year warranty.--Josh Dettweiler
